Genesis

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Armapur-2 has started working in 1983 for Classes I to V in a old building at Kalpi Road Armapur, Kanpur. The building was provided by OFC Kanpur. Later on, in the year 2001 the school has been shifted to its own newly constructed building.

New building of Vidyalaya is situated inside the Armapur Estate Campus. It is 3 section school from class 1 to 10 and 4 sections for class 11 and 12. In Senior Secondary, it has all three streams i.e. Science, Commerce and Humanities.
