- PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No2 ,Armapur Kanpur opened in 1983.
- The previous campus of the Vidyalaya was situated at Kalpi Road, Kanpur which now has been transferred to Armapur Estate, Kanpur. The land was given by Ordnance Factory in Armapur Estate.
- New Building was Inaugurated by Sh. Harsh Mahan Kaire (I.A.S) on 24.11.2001 under the chairmanship of Central School Committee.
